Answered Prayers!!

Thankyou so much for all of your prayers. It took a literal week to get our reservations back that were cancelled by Avianca. We were supposed to fly from Bogota to Ft. Lauderdale on Monday but were told that there were no more spaces and we would have to fly on Tuesday, pay $100 each and about $500 each for the difference in the fares. David called on Sunday night just to ask about space and asked in English and was told there was lots of room and come on to the airport. So at 10:00 p.m. on Sunday we started packing to leave early to the airport. We got to bed around 12:30 and left around 5:30 the next morning From about 6:30 a.m. until 9:20 we stood firm waiting for God to come through and He did!! We were given our seats and flew out on Monday with NO EXTRA CHARGES!! Praise God!! We got to Ft. Lauderdale and our Pastor friends from Venezuela who pastor a Messianic Spanish fellowship picked us up with our van. We were so exhausted and they insisted we spend the night with them. The next day a missionary to Iquitos came by to meet us and brought her son from Spain and her daugher from Mexico who had flown in to be with their mom. The son was in the car with a lot of pain from his sciatic nerve down his left leg. We asked if we could pray for him. He is Catholic and not a christian and said yes. We went out to the car and began to pray for him. Then we asked him if he still had pain. He said a little, so we asked him if he could stand outside of the car so we could keep praying. We did and the pain went away!! He looked like he was in shock!! We told him that the Lord healed him to show him that he loved him and that God wanted a relationship with him that it had nothing to do with Catholics or Evangelicals, He repeated the sinners prayer receiving Christ as his savior and asking the Lord to baptize him with the power of the Holy Spirit. Boy was his mom excited and so were we!! God is amazing. Then the Pastor Hector wanted David and I to share on healing with his church that night and he called a special meeting. We had a good group and at the end were able to pray with them over many hurts they had gpne through from different situations as a church and as leaders. We really saw God do a breakthrough. Today we had to get our van fixed so while we are waiting I am writing our update. We cannot thank all of you enough for all your prayers. Will put some pictures up here with comments. When we get the van we will be travelling to Lakeland and hopefully get to go to the revival tonight!!
